'Excellent teamwork' between CCTV workers and police led to the arrest

A man was arrested in Leamington last night (Wednesday November 18) on suspicion of supplying drugs.

Police said a man was spotted acting suspiciously and the CCTV staff, patrol officers and the Safer Neighbourhood Team worked together to track him down.

A police spokesperson said: "Patrol officers from Leamington Spa working with our Safer Neighbourhood Team and town centre CCTV identified a male acting suspiciously.

"Due to some excellent team working this male was arrested on suspicion of drugs supply and a quantity of cannabis was seized."
