A man has been arrested and charged after reportedly shouting and threatening to spit at shop staff in Leamington

The 39-year-old man who is from Leamington was charged with common assault.

This was after officers responded to a report of man being verbally abusive and threatening to spit at staff at a shop in Bath Street in Leamington on Wednesday (January 27).

The man is due to appear at Magistrates’ Court in Leamington on April 9.
