A man has been charged with drink driving after his van collided with a man in a street in Leamington.

The incident happened on Wednesday evening (August 19) in Brunswick Street.

The man who was hit was taken to hospital with minor injuries to his ribs and arm.

A 25-year-old man from Leamington has been arrested and charged with drink driving.

He is due to appear in court on October 27.
