Man in hospital after unprovoked attack in Brownsover

A man in his forties remains in hospital with multiple injuries after an unprovoked attack in Brownsover.

The incident took place on the footpath between Mill Road and Crowthorns Road sometime between 6.30pm and 9pm on Sunday, March 1.

The man was walking when he was approached by another man who spoke to him before assaulting him.

The victim suffered facial, arm and chest injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Enquiries are ongoing and police said they are keen to speak to anyone who has information or may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
