Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted in Leamington.

At around 4.40pm on October 8, a 15-year-old boy was walking on Ford Fields from the cut through by Old Warwick Road when he was approached by two males.

Both males then assaulted the boy, before leaving in the direction of Old Warwick Road.

The victim sustained facial, head and back injuries which required hospital treatment.

Police said that the suspects have been described as:

•A black or mixed race boy, around 15 or 16 years old who was wearing a grey face covering and was riding an electric scooter.

•A white, slim boy wearing a black tracksuit. Around 15 or 16 years old. He was riding a bike.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the offence.

If anyone has any information, they should call 101 quoting incident number 295 of October 8.

Warwickshire Police issued the appeal on October 19.
