A man has been charged after police found about £8,000 worth of cocaine in a garage in Leamington.

Officers from the Serious Organised Crime Unit executed a warrant on the garage at the rear of Leam Terrace this week where a 44-year-old man was found and arrested on suspicion of possession with Intent to supply class A and class B drugs.

A police spokesperson said: "Around £8,000 worth of believed cocaine has been recovered as well as cannabis, heroin and other items associated with the supply of controlled drugs.

"They were recovered from the garage and a car."

The man was charged with the offences and was remanded.

He appeared at Coventry Magistrates court yesterday (Wednesday) where he was again remanded and kept in custody to next appear on March 11 at Warwick Crown Court.
