Club president Keith Ward said “The club has spent over 1,250 hours managing the northern section of the Great Central Way over the last three years and this theft has

undermined efforts to improve the area.

Keith added that It is particularly despicable that the box taken was made and decorated by a disabled nine-year-old -who spent a lot of time and effort which resulted in him winning a club competition for making bird boxes.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
