A man from Ryton has been charged with three counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker.

This follows an incident in Corporation Street in Rugby on Wednesday (October 20).

Elvinn Coles, 47, of Manns Close, was charged, remanded and is set to appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court today (Thursday October 21).
