Serial burglar who broke into Leamington and Rugby houses has been jailed for more than three years

Anthony Connors, of Green Lane, Outwood, Surrey was jailed at Warwick Crown Court after pleading guilty to burgling houses in Coleshill, Leamington, Rugby, Stretton-on-Dunsmore and Atherstone between 24-26 September 2019.

He was jailed for three years and nine months last week.

He was arrested in February 2020 after police stopped the vehicle reported to have been used in one of the offences and Connors fitted the description provided by one of the victims.

Det Con Karl Brennan of Leamington Proactive CID said: “Only people who have been burgled will appreciate the feeling that someone has invaded your personal space and been through your belongings.

"We work hard to ensure those responsible for these crimes are brought to justice.”
