Serial burglar who broke into Leamington and Rugby houses has been jailed for more than three years

A serial burglar who broke into five houses in two days including one in Leamington and another in Rugby has been jailed.

Anthony Connors, of Green Lane, Outwood, Surrey was jailed at Warwick Crown Court after pleading guilty to burgling houses in Coleshill, Leamington, Rugby, Stretton-on-Dunsmore and Atherstone between 24-26 September 2019.

He was jailed for three years and nine months last week.

He was arrested in February 2020 after police stopped the vehicle reported to have been used in one of the offences and Connors fitted the description provided by one of the victims.
