Son decided to give his disqualified father a lift on the M6 Toll - now there are two disqualified drivers in the family

Rather than trying to go incognito, the driver decided to use the accelerator more than his brains

A son whose father was disqualified from driving is himself set to be disqualified after being caught committing a litany of motoring offences.

Holding only a provisional licence and no motor insurance, the son had decided to give his father a lift in a black Audi saloon.

And, rather than opting for an incognito approach, the son decided to tear up the M6 Toll at 100mph.

Unsurprisingly, the speeding saloon was spotted by Warwickshire traffic officers, who, after pulling the car over, made enquiries and discovered the father/son team's unique approach to motoring.

The Audi was loaded onto the back of a truck and carried back down the motorway at a more sensible speed - and police said the son can now expect to receive his very own disqualification.
