A strong smell of cannabis led police to uncover a large drugs factory in a Rugby house.

Officers entered the house in New Street at about 11pm yesterday (Thursday) due to a strong smell of cannabis.

Once inside, they discovered a large cannabis grow along with lighting and other drugs paraphernalia.

Warwickshire Police said: "Enquiries are ongoing and if you have any information, please contact us quoting incident 332 of 5 January."
