Suspected illegal immigrants arrested at Warwick M40 services

Police arrested 13 men on suspicion of immigration offences at the Warwick services on the M40 motorway yesterday (Thursday July 16).

The men, aged between 23 and 45, had been reported to be running from the back of a lorry.

Two of them, both aged 27, were also arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs after white powder was seized by officers.

Warwickshire Police's Dog Section reported its involvement in the arrests from its Twitter account.
