The van driver was arrested and, even while in custody, refused to provide correct details.

Eventually he gave up and admitted who he was - and officers discovered he was disqualified from driving.

We stopped this van in Rugby as the driver was using a mobile phone whilst driving.

Police said the driver will be charged to court for driving whilst disqualified, using a phone whilst driving, no insurance and - thanks to his efforts to hide his identity, a charge of obstruct police will be included.
