Vandals set fire to a van full of tools between Kenilworth and Leamington - just after thieves stolen power tools from another van nearby.

Both incident happened on Monday (February 15) and police are appealing for information.

Between 2.30-5pm, thieves smashed the lock of the drivers door on a Toyota Hylux motor vehicle parked at Rouncil Lane, Kenilworth, and stole some De Walt power tools and personal items.

Then at about 5pm on the same day, a van in the Westhill Road/Bericote Road area between Kenilworth and Cubbington, complete with a set of ladders on its roof rack, was set on fire at a field.
