Warwick suspect asked to come forward after racist incident in a Leamington supermarket

A suspect is being asked to come forward following a racist incident in a Leamington supermarket.

At around 11.30am on March 9 a woman in her eighties approached the victim in Tesco on the Parade and made racist comments, a spokesperson from Warwickshire Police said.

Police believe the suspect is known as 'Betty' and lives in the Warwick area.

The spokesperson added: "Officers would encourage the suspect to make contact with police.

"Should anyone have information relating to this offence please call 101 and quote the above incident number (Incident WK-20200309-235)."
