Warwickshire Police have charged a man following a pursuit on Sunday (September 1) which resulted in a car colliding with other cars and a pedestrian.

Ayman Rafiq, 32 from Park Street, Coventry, has been charged with failure to stop, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, and driving while disqualified.

Rafiq has been remanded until his next appearance in Coventry Crown Court on September 24

This follows a road traffic collision with multiple cars and a pedestrian on Foleshill Road and the A444 around midnight on 1 September.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital and was later found to have a fractured leg.
