Woman sexually assaulted near Warwick Hospital

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted near Warwick Hospital this week.

The woman, who is in her early 20s, had just parked her car and was walking along Gaveston Close towards the hospital on Tuesday between 8.15am and 8.30am when a man walking in the opposite direction said hello to her.

The man followed her and grabbed her before sexually touching her.

She managed to run off.

Officers are keen to speak to any witnesses and anyone who can help identify the man who may have seen him in the area at around the time of the incident.

He is described as a 6ft tall, stocky and white and in his late 50s or early 60s, with grey receding hair.

He was wearing a blue polo shirt and black trousers.
