She was arrested on Tuesday evening (January 19)

A woman who was wanted on warrant was arrested in Leamington.

Leamington Safer Neighbourhood Team posted in their social media about the arrest.

The woman was arrested on Wednesday evening (January 19).

A spokesperson said: "Whilst out on patrol yesterday evening officers from Leamington SNT spotted a female on High Street in the town.

"This female had been wanted on warrant for a number of weeks and so was promptly arrested.

"After a search she was found to be in possession of what we suspect to be class A drugs, and she was further arrested for this.

"She was later interviewed, charged and remanded for court this morning."
