Cross continues on journey

PUPILS at St Andrew’s Benn have taken part in a special pilgrimage to celebrate 200 years of Church of England schools.

The school received the cross of nails from St Oswald’s during a special assembly at St Andrew’s Church. During the three days they had the cross at the school pupils learnt about pilgrimages before passing it on to Clifton-upon-Dunsmore Primary School.

The cross is currently being passed around the Diocese of Coventry.
