Crowds turn out for Grand Show

The annual Grand Show by Kenilworth Lions has been hailed as another huge success after great weather and a host of exciting events brought crowds flocking to Abbey Fields at the weekend.

As well as a dog show and appearance by Crufts stars, Abbie Reynolds-Dobson and her dancing dog Marley, visitors were treated to games and stalls, a vintage tractor parade, a Warwickshire flyball display, falconry, ferret racing, a fun fair and live music.

And all to bring in funds for a host of town charities and good causes.

Timothy Lee, a spokesperson for the Lions said it was an “excellent turnout” on the day and thanked everyone for coming along to support them for another year running.

“It was another really good weekend and we are delighted with how things went,” he said.

People seemed to really enjoy all the events and the weather was great, so another bonus for all the charities out on the day.”
