Deadline for Kenilworth’s ‘Worthies’ looming
People, businesses and sports teams from Kenilworth should get their nominations in for the Worthies, the town’s unique awards, by Thursday November 15.
The awards, organised by Kenilworth Chamber of Trade, are the first of their kind and were conceived as a way of giving thanks to the people, businesses and organisations that make the town what it is.
The categories for awards are: Business of the Year Turnover over 100K; Small Business of the Year Turnover under 100K; Business Person of the Year; Pub of the Year; Restaurant of the Year; Retailer of the Year; Sports Team of the Year; Organisation of the Year; and Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Under 25; and the Worthies Kenilworth Award, given to a person who deserves special recognition.
The awards will be held on May 26 next year.
Nominations can be made at kenilworthchamber.co.uk or by picking up a form from Holiday Inn in Abbey End.
