Death on the A46
POLICE closed the A46 at Stoneleigh on Tuesday morning (September 21) after a man was found lying in the road.
Motorists called emergency services at 6.45am with reports of a man lying in the southbound carriageway.
Paramedics and ambulance crews treated the man, a 64-year-old from Coventry, but he died shortly afterwards.
Warwickshire Police reopened the road at around 8am.
