A DEMENTIA roadshow will be opened in Warwick next week by sports presenter Rupert Bell.

The Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Community Roadshow will begin its West Midlands tour at 10am on Thursday at the Tesco in Emscote Road.

Mr Bell said: “My mother had dementia so I know what a cruel condition it can be and the devastating impact it has on families.

“I’m delighted the roadshow is visiting my hometown in Warwick and I hope it continues to lift the taboos around dementia.”

The vehicle, funded by Tesco, will be touring the West Midlands for five weeks and will be at the Warwick store for two days between 10am and 4pm.
