Donate a Christmas box for soldiers in Afghanistan

SOLDIERS serving in Afghanistan will be given some Christmas cheer by a collection campaign which is being supported by an estate agent.

Crabb Curtis’s office in Euston Place, Leamington, will be a drop off point for Operation Shoebox, which encourages people to prepare a showbox full of treats and essential items for troops.

The boxes can contain toiletries for either men or women, small tins of food, sweets, chewing gum, magazines, notebooks, pens, books, socks, gloves, lunchbox packs of biscuits, pot noodles, small pots of preserves, sachets of soup, nuts, cereal bars and more.

Chocolate or aerosols cannot be accepted.
