Dr Jephson speaks of Pump Room’s past
More than 150 people learnt about the secrets of the Pump Room’s past in the words of Dr Jephson and the bath manager’s wife, Hannah Wincote, at performances at Leamington Art Gallery by Highly Sprung theatre company (actors are pictured).
Visitors at the performances heard about the medical history of the building and Regency fashion of the time. A First Class Watering Place, an exhibition which looks back on the 200-year history of the building, continues until August 25.
