Durrant sisters star for Great Britain

Aylesford School students Kerryn, 15, and Amber Durrant, 13, were both part of Great Britain under-17 girls’ European Championship-winning side in Wroclaw, Poland.

Kerryn topped the individual table in the group stages with six goals and seven assists, with sister Amber chipping in with three goals.

Kerryn then went on to score twice as Britain beat Germany 9-5. in the final, which helped her gain the tournament’s “most valuable player” accolade.

Aylesford School’s ultimate frisbee club organiser Alistair Darren said: “This surely makes Kerryn one of the top players of the game in Britain today.”
