Easing the flow from M40 to Gaydon

Work has started on the first phase of road improvements costing more than £10 million in a bid to ease traffic bottlenecks between the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) site and the M40.

The first phase will see a new dual carriageway built to replace the B4100 and B4451 link from the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon to the M40 at Junction 12.

New signal-controlled junctions will be constructed to provide safe junctions with the existing roads and the new Heritage Motor Centre/Jaguar Land Rover access road.
