Ed’s Easy Diner and Caffé Nero to open at Elliott’s Field in Rugby

The news comes as Caffé Nero confirms it will open its second Rugby branch when the £35 million Leicester Road redevelopment is completed later this year.

Ed’s Easy Diner and Caffé Nero will join Debenhams department store, Nando’s, M&S, TKMaxx, Outfit, Next and Clarks.

On schedule to open later this year, Elliott’s Field will comprise 180,000 sq ft of retail and dining floorspace and 567 car parking spaces.

Tom Cochrane, asset manager at Hammerson, who own Elliott’s Field, said: “Ed’s Easy Diner, Caffé Nero and Nando’s are all great additions to the line-up of tenants we have already attracted to Elliott’s Field.

“Our aim is to deliver a vibrant destination that offers a broad mix of shops and restaurants for the local residents of Rugby and the wider area to enjoy.

“By offering a diverse choice, with something for all the family, Elliott’s Field will help to retain customer spending locally and boost Rugby’s reputation as a retail destination in its own right.”

Andrew Guy, CEO of Ed’s Easy Diner, added: “Elliott’s Field Shopping Park represents a great opportunity for Ed’s, further extending our reach into the Midlands.

“We’ll be working closely with employment charity Springboard, hiring around 25 new staff from the surrounding area.

“The new redevelopment will hopefully attract a large number of people from all over Rugby later this year.”
