Enter this year's Pancake Race and help a Rugby family

The organisers, Rugby Rokeby Lions Club, have decided to support Mia Williams (pictured) and are aiming to raise £1,000 to buy a specialised Safe Chair for Mia.

Nine-year-old Mia was born without eyes, has cerebral palsy and suffers from low muscle tone.

She has to be carried by her parents so this year’s Pancake Race will help buy a specialised Safe Chair for Mia to enable her to sit independently both inside and out in the garden.

The race takes place on February 9 on Sheep Street, Rugby, and fancy dress is encouraged.
