A spokesperson for the council said: "Warwick District Council is aware of the issue and will be taking measures early next week."

David Atkinson sent us these photos (attached) and said that there seems to be a rat nest in the tree near to the Czech Fountain Memorial.

Another person who lives near the park and walks through it every day said: "More worryingly, the rats seem to be coming out in groups and at any time of day - certainly not concerned abut people or dogs around."
