'This is heartbreaking' - these photos show the latest round of trees and hedgerows being removed near Leamington for HS2

Protesters gathered again to make their voices heard as HS2 workers took down more trees on the Fosse Way near Offchurch

Police were also called to the scene to make sure the work could go ahead yesterday (Tuesday August 25).

Two more giant oak trees were knocked down, as well as hedgerows.

Campaigners described the scene as 'heartbreaking' and said more trees are expected to be felled.
