Family appeal for missing man to return home

THE family of a Warwick man who has been missing since Monday night have made an emotional plea for him to come home.

Sukhdev Lota, 64, of Laburnum Grove, left a family address in Richardson Close at about 7.30pm on Monday and has not been seen since.

His wife, son and daughter in law say that they are very worried about him and that his four year old grandson is asking for him.

His son said: “Dad, please come home or let us know that you are safe. Whatever the issues, come back, we can sort everything out.

“We are all worried about you and miss you very much.

“Your grandson keeps asking for you and wants to know when he will see you again. He has said that he feels sad and misses his Dadaji.”

Mr Lota is described as an Asian male, 5ft 11ins tall, of slim build and with short greying hair.

When he was last seen he was wearing a black jacket, beige/brown trousers and black slip on shoes.

A police search involving officers, dogs and the force helicopter has been conducted over the past three days and enquiries made at places frequented by Mr Lota.

Anyone who sees Mr Lota, or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Warwickshire Police immediately on 01926 415000.
