Family of Fosse Way crash victim pay tribute

Last Wednesday two men died in the crash on Fosse Way near Chesterton and were named as Michael Peter Warren, 81, of Staple Hill, Wellesbourne, and Ronald Michael G Allfrod, 42, of Rugby.

The family of Mr Warren have issued the following tribute: “Peter Warren, ‘Pop Pop’, - a doting husband to Janet, a loving father to Richard and Denise, a devoted grandfather to Matthew, Tom, Emma, Jojo and Jamie and a caring brother to John and Anthony who will be truly missed with every passing day.”

Mr Warren died when the two cars collided on the Fosse Way bridge over the M40 at around 9.10am. A third vehicle was also involved, and the 61-year-old driver was uninjured.
