Family pays tribute to teenager who died in fatal road collision

THE FAMILY of an 18-year-old Warwick University student who died as the result of a road traffic collision on Friday night have paid tribute to him.

Archibald ‘Archie’ Felix Lister Wellbelove from Biggleswade in Bedfordshire was studying English and French at the university.

He was talented rugby player, who represented Bedfordshire County and Bedfordshire School, and a skilled drummer.

His family have said: “He was above all a very kind and loving soul, who brought happiness to all around him.

“He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure to know and love him, especially his Mummy and Daddy and brother and sister Henry and Mathilda.”

Police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal collision that occurred in Leamington at approximately 03.50am on Friday.

The incident occurred when a taxi was driving away from the town along Kenilworth Road between the Northumberland Road Junction and Old Milverton Lane island when it was in collision with Mr Wellbelove near Woodlands Grange.

Anyone who saw the taxi or Mr Wellbelove in the area before the incident or any witnesses to the collision itself are asked to contact 415415.
