Family’s car overturns near Warwick

Four people were hurt in the incident, which occurred between junctions 14 and 15 at around 12.25pm and involved a grey Renault Megane estate and a green Vauxhall Astra.

Two ambulances, the air ambulance, three fire engines and police were called to the scene, where they freed a woman from her car. She was taken to Warwick Hospital, while another woman, the mother of the two sons who had been travelling in the overturned car, was flown to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmimgham with an arm injury.

The two boys were taken to the same hospital with minor injuries. Their father, who had also been in the car, was unhurt.
