Fears over elderly resident in Warwick house fire
Fire crews were called out to a Warwick rescue after reports that an elderly resident was trapped in their home by a fire on Monday afternoon.
Crews in three engines rushed to a house in Laburnum Grove just after 2pm on March 21 after 999 calls from the area.
A kitchen fire was found, but crews said it was quickly established that the resident was not in danger from the flames.
Two firefighters tackled the blaze and nobody was harmed in the incident.
