Fire at Chase Meadow estate

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call that a building was on fire in Tournament Court near The Unicorn pub on the estate just after 7pm on Tuesday night.

They arrived to find the ground floor of the building heavily smoke logged.

They used a thermal image camera to identify the source of the smoke, and used two hose reels, four breathing apparatus and a covering jet to tackle the flames.

Three fire engines were in attendance from Leamington, Kenilworth and Wellesbourne. Nobody is believed to have been injured.
