Fire crews called after car hit Lillington wall

Emergency services were called to Lillington Road just after 12.30pm after reports that a car had crashed into a wall.

Two fire engines rushed to the scene fearing that passengers and a driver were trapped inside a vehicle.

Upon arrival crews found that all people involved had managed to get out of the car and were treated by paramedics.

Crews remained on scene for around an hour, where they made sure the vehicle was safe.

Nobody is thought to have been seriously hurt in the collision.
