Fire crews in one hour Kenilworth rescue
An elderly resident was rescued from a High Street flat after being trapped by flames.
Fire crews were called just before midday on Wednesday after an electrical fire broke out in a first floor flat.
A fire engine from Kenilworth was joined by two from Leamington after reports that a female resident was suffering from smoke inhalation and unable to exit the building without help.
She was taken for treatment by paramedics in the one-hour rescue.
