Firefighters from Gaydon and Southam called to farm machinery fire

Firefighters from Gaydon and Southam were called out to an incident in a field this afternoon (Tuesday September 8).

At 1.50pm firefighters were sent out to a field in Priors Hardwick.

When crews arrived at the scene they found a tractor and baler unit well alight in the middle of the field.

Firefighters used a hose-reel Jet, misting equipment, a thermal Imaging camera and small gear to extinguish the fire.

The crews remained on the scene for two hours.
