First harvest from Hatton’s Jubilee Orchard
County councillor Jose Compton was invited to officially open the Hatton Park Jubilee Orchard as the first crop from 80 fruit trees was harvested.
The trees were all planted in December, 2012, and local people have been eagerly watching over them.
Warwick District Council provided the land for the project which and the project also benefited from the support of district chairman Clare Sawdon and a grant from Warwickshire County Council.
