And the organisers have said: “As there will be no Harbury beer festival this year, the Leamington Beer and Music should solve all your needs.”

Committee member Oliver Hiscoe added: “We aimed to create the perfect beer festival that families could join, whilst keeping the cause a central part of the festival by providing great music throughout.

“It’s going to be a really great weekend, so we hope to see you there.”

The festival was set up to raise funds for The Band Factory, a space for musicians in Old Town .

As a music focused festival there are already 15 confirmed bands including Royal Spa Brass, Sambassadors of Groove and Leamingt-OOM-PAH.

For those who wish for something different there will be six varieties of English wine and soft drinks as well.

The Jabberwocky will be on hand to provide hungry customers with gourmet toasties.

The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) will be supporting the event after it announced earlier this year that the Harbury Beer Festival would not be taking place this August due to the village hall being renovated.

A statement from the organisation said: “As the next festival will be our 25th we have decided that we do not want to compromise the event in a location affected by a building site.

“We intend to come back bigger and better next year and celebrate our silver anniversary in style.”
