Florida killer of James Cooper had an accomplice claims witness

THE 16-year-old boy accused of murdering a Hampton-Lucy man in Florida was found in possession of the same type of bullets that killed him.

James Cooper, 25, and his friend from Northampton James Kouzaris, 24, were shot dead in the city of Sarasota in April in the early hours of the morning.

Shawn Tyson, 16, has been charged with the first-degree murders and police have released documents showing they found the same calibre bullets used in the shooting in Tyson’s bedroom.

Court records show that police are also looking for a second possible suspect, with one witness stating that they saw the duo being chased by two black men.

But nearly two months on Police are still no closer to finding out why the pair were in the run down area so far from where they were staying at 3am. They still had money and a camera with them so robbery doesn’t seem to be the motive for the killings.
