Football stars encourage young entrepreneurs

FORMER professional footballers dropped by at Warwick School last week to help a group of young entrepreneurs in a fundraising venture.

The Warwick School and King’s High School Young Enterprise Group, Capital, hosted the evening to raise funds for their business venture to develop draught excluders.

The evening was hosted by comedian Dave Ismay, while former Aston Villa and Manchester United striker Dion Dublin and Queens Park Rangers and Arsenal defender Terry Mancini gave talks.

The evening included a curry and auction of sports related items which raised over £700 with ticket sales raising a further £800.

The sixth formers will be holding a trade fair in Royal Priors Shopping Centre tomorrow (Saturday).
