The former sportsman, who has 73 caps for England as well as a World Cup winner’s medal, spoke to fans and signed memorabilia on November 1 when he visited House of Fraser in the Parade, where shoppers can now buy items from his new Raging Bull brand - named after the nickname Phil was given by Sir Clive Woodward.

Since starting his rugby career in Bude, Phil has captained the England squad to success in Argentina in 2002 and was part of the 2003 World Cup winning team. He retired two years ago due to injury, but has been working on his leisurewear range since 2007.
