Four Leamington fundraisers help survivors of Nepal earthquakes and raise £5,000
Four people with close links to Nepal, Ramesh and Frankie Karki, from Leamington, and Dan and Phillipa Munday, from Warwick, organised a Nepal Tea fundraiser for survivors of the Nepal earthquake.
The event, held at St Mark’s Church, raised more than £5,000 for the Nepalese-based INF Earthquake Appeal. More than 250 people went along to enjoy tea, coffee and home-made cakes in return for donations.
