Free advice on how to tackle bullying for Warwickshire families

Parents and professionals who work with children and families can learn more about the causes of bullying and how to tackle the issue at events in Leamington this month.

Warwickshire County Council’s family information service is taking part in the national Anti-Bullying Week from November 18 to 22, starting with an afternoon event for people who work with children and young people at the Pump Room on Monday November 18 from 1pm to 4pm.

A similar event for parents takes place at the same venue from 6pm to 8.30pm.

Included will be talks on tackling homophobic bullying, bullying and social media and staying safe, while attendees can also find out about the support services in Warwickshire for families.
