Two others, Clifford Desmond Garnett aged 29 years of Southway, Leamington and 47-year-old Kevin Raymond Frankum of Charles Gardner Road, Leamington, who were both charged on Monday with theft from a motor vehicle are due to appear before magistrates in Leamington on Wednesday September 21.

Community Beat Manager, PC Jon Belcher said: “Unfortunately we have seen an increase in offences where Sat-Nav systems and other high value electronics such as Ipads, Laptops and mobile phones have been left on display in the vehicles.

“This is an open invitation to opportunist thieves who actively look for these items. The message is to ensure that you remove all of your valuables from your vehicle when you leave it, either at home or at work”.
