Games for all abilities

ATHLETES and those less accustomed to sporting competitions are coming together for their chance to win gold at an Olympic-style charity event

Inspired by London 2012, the Edgehill Games, to be opened by former Olympic athlete David Moorecroft OBE, will include 27 contests in which medals will be awarded and the proceeds donated to Sport Relief.

The games will take place at Kineton High School and the DM Kineton army base between April and July and include the usual sports, as well as the less traditional Wii Mario Kart racing, teddy bear parachuting and the ‘modern pub pentathlon’.

People of all ages and abilities, as well as the disabled, are welcome to enter. For further details, visit www.edgehillbenefice.co.uk
