Gardeners needed for Sydni Centre project
VOLUNTEERS have been digging and planting to create a new green area at a community centre in Sydenham.
Grants of £2,000 from Leamington town council and £3,000 from Warwickshire County Council have given the Sydni Centre in Cottage Square, which will go towards landscaping its community garden.
The ongoing project is being led by the Action in the Community Together Group (ACT) and is appealing for the help of gardeners of all ages and abilities to help share the workload and any ideas.
Kate Cliffe, manager of the Sydni Centre, said: “It’s about creating a beautiful space that the whole community can enjoy.”
